Made just for women, with gentle shaping and a narrow placket for a flattering fit. Two-ply 50s mercerized cotton jersey, 200 grams per square meter, with gentle stretch knit right into the fabric. Self fabric binding at sleeve, bar-tacked side vents. Imported.

While it feels smooth and looks effortless, our Mercerized Polo Shirt entails a lot of work. First, we begin with fine spun long staple cotton yarns and tightly twist them to form a 50s two-ply yarn. Next, we mercerize the yarns to create a lustrous jersey fabric. Finally, this shirt undergoes our 16-hour "dip & heat" process, so you can wash it without worry and wear it with confidence anywhere, on its own or under a blazer. NO DRY-CLEANING NECESSARY
Most mercerized shirts with a high thread count must be dry-cleaned or else they shrink as much as 15%. Not ours. While the thread count is indeed high, with long-staple 50s two-ply mercerized cotton, out shirt is dipped and heated in a special process that stabalizes the fabric and fixes the color, so you can wash and dry it without fear of it shrinking or fading.
